Biography :

Mr Espeed Khoshbin is a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon and a senior lecturer at Newcastle University, United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Intercollegiate Royal Collages of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland. He trained in cardiopulmonary transplantation through the national fellowship scheme at Freeman Hospital United Kingdom and traveling (ISHLT) scholarship in the United States (UCLA). He has a doctoral research degree in ECMO. His scientific interest is in reducing the systemic inflammatory response associated with extracorporeal circulation. He also has experience with the use of robotic technology in cardiac surgery. He is a faculty member of the international aspects of cardiothoracic transplantation course in Newcastle and the Manchester University speciality training academy and cadaveric course. He is a reviewer for the National Institute of Health Research, member of the Cochrane heart and editor/reviewer for a number of peer review journals.

Biography :

Dr. Omer Senbaklavaci is a Lead Surgeon of Lung Transplant Program in University Medical Center Freiburg, Germany. He also served as a Director for Lung Transplant Program at Acibadem University, Turkey (Nov 2015- Oct 2016). He was a Chair of Thoracic Surgical Division and Head of Lung Transplant Program, Consultant Thoracic at Universitätsmedizin Mainz, Germany (June 2009- May 2014). He was a consultant Thoracic and Transplant Surgeon in The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Freeman Hospital. He has the Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeon of England. He trained in Vienna, Austria and in Bochum, Germany. He was the Surgical Lead of the Lung Transplant Program at Freeman Hospital. His first appointment as Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Klagenfurt, Austria 2004-2009. He had a special interest in minimally invasive lung transplantation and lung preservation which gained 2011 National Thoracic Surgical Price of the German Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery with his experimental study.

Biography :

Dr. Pavlos Papoulidis is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon and a Senior fellow in Blackpool Victoria Hospital. He is a member of British Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery and had a fellowship in European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS), Hellenic Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons, The Cardio-Thoracic network (CTS net) and The Hellenic Society of Trauma. He was a Senior fellow at Royal Wolverhampton Hospital. He also served as an Associate specialist/ Trust grade Specialist Doctor, Cardiothoracics, UHCW. In all of his posts he was performing thoracic mainly (in total 10.5 years: 6.5 years in UK) and occasionally cardiac procedures. His main interest is in robotic surgery, VATS and airway Management/ LVRS and also in pectus repairs and trauma surgery. He completed his online training for robotic surgery and all practical tests (hours). In JCUH he was introduced and performed micro-lobectomies, pectus repairs, radio-guided pulmonary nodules resection and robotic thoracic surgery. As a member of stuff in Royal Brompton Hospital he was exposed to minimal invasive techniques thoracic surgery (VATS lobectomy), bronchoscopy, mediastinoscopy, LASER metastasectomy.

Biography :

Farooq A Shiekh is the Chair of Research & Head, Department of Biochemistry, GMC, Baramulla, India. He also served Chair of Research & Professor, Department of Basic Medical Sciences, Avalon University School of Medicine, Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. Dr. Shiekh obtained his PhD in biomedical sciences- the biochemical characterization of small particles, from one of the primer medical center the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India in 2005. In order to pursue his great interests in the field of nanoparticles he joined at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA, as a fellow (2007-2009) and trained as a senior scientist at Faculte of de Medecine, National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and WHO collaborative center, La Timone Hospital, Marseille, France (2010-2012). His area of research is advancing ‘nanocarriers’ for combined targeted medicine, in order to enhance efficacy of drug delivery to reach untargetable complex tumor sites. Dr. Shiekh is currently the consulting editor for the International Journal of Nanomedicine and is associated with many other scientific organizations. He has many years of diverse teaching and research experience from renowned medical institutions of world repute.

Responsibility

The organizers hold no responsibilities or liabilities of the personal articles of attendees at the venue against any kind of theft, loss, damage, due to any reason whatsoever. Delegates are entirely responsible for the safety of their own belongings.

Insurance

No insurance, of any kind, is included along with the registration in any of the events of the organization.

Transportation

Please note that transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant, Allied Academies will not be liable for any actions howsoever related to transportation and parking.

Press/Media

Press permission must be obtained from Allied Academies Conference Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The Allied Academies is an objective third-party non-profit organization and this conference are not associated with any commercial meeting company.

Requesting an Invitation Letter

For security purposes, letter of invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference after payment of complete registration fee. Once registration is complete, please contact surgery@alliedgather.com to request for a personalized letter of invitation, if not received until one month before the scheduled date of the event. All the bank charges applicable during refund will be deducted from the account of the participant.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations or modifications of registration must be made in writing to finance@alliedacademies.com

If due to any reason, Allied academies postpone an event on the scheduled date, the participant is eligible for a credit of 100% of the registration fee paid. This credit shall only be used for another event organized by Allied academies within a period of one year from the date of rescheduling. 

Postponement of event

If due to any reason, Allied academies postpone an event and the participant is unable or unwilling to attend the conference on rescheduled dates, he/she is eligible for a credit of 100% of the registration fee paid. This credit shall only be used for another event organized by Allied academies within a period of one year from the date of rescheduling.

Transfer of registration

All registrations, after payment of complete registration fee, are transferable to other persons from the same organization, if in case the person is unable to attend the event. Request for transfer of registration must be made by the registered person in writing to finance@alliedacademies.com. Details must include the full name of the replaced new registrant, their title, contact phone number, and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied academies if the person is unable to attend one of the conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if intimated within 20 days of the respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information:

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues are not covered under the cancellation policy of Allied academies, including the inability to obtain a visa.

Refund Policy:

If the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund policies apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overhead charges, following Refund Policy Orders are available:

  • Before 60 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund after deduction of $100 towards service Fee.
  • Within 60-30 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund
  • Within 30 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund
  • E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:

Accommodation Service Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies which are applicable when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. If in case the registrant wishes to cancel or amend the accommodation, he/ she is expected to inform the organizing authorities on a prior basis. Allied academies will advise the registrant to ensure complete awareness about the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to cancellation or modification of their booking.

Authorization Policy

Online Registration:

To register online https://surgery.alliedacademies.com/, please get authorization from your respective bank for Online International Transactions after that you can proceed for online transactions.

Offline Registration:

To register offline kindly mail us on surgery@alliedgather.com with your participation interest as Speaker or Delegate and accommodation required (yes/no) with total nights, we will provide you the Invoice for the wire transfer (bank to bank).

Soon after the Payment send us the bank receipt to confirm your registration offline.

On-Spot Registration:

You may register on-spot at the venue on the registration desk directly.

On-spot we won't give any kind of discounts or packages. For Letter of Invitation, you need to Register with $200 (Token amount) to confirm your participation remaining amount you have to pay on-spot.
